Synopsis

First of all no there are not 9 prequels to this only eye 1 and eye 2 are dashingly linked, the 10 in the title refers to the amount of different ways you are able to see a ghost with the help of a sought after book. Unfortunately 20 minutes in I thought to myself “what the hell am I watching?” it’s that bad. Read on….

Review

Jeez… where to start reviewing this car crash of a movie? Ok a group of 4 students/punks get together and tell ghost stories; one of them has a book which promises them 10 genuine ways to spot ghosts, they immediately set out to try and explore this paranormal phenomenon. The ways to see ghosts in this movie range from the truly bizarre “lure out hungry ghosts” by banging chopsticks on a bowl to a glorified version of ghost hide and seek. After a slight misdemeanor where one of the group goes missing they all split up to go about their real lives (that would happen lol) only to meet up later in the movie to discuss what happened. This is were the movie goes from bad to truly abysmal and how I stuck with it ive no idea.

The direction, script writing and special effects are all awful and I would say shame on the Pang brothers but no need as they consistently put out bad movies which continue their decline into crap movie making. The acting is possibly some of the worst ive ever seen in any genre and at times one of the leads appears to be reading off a autoqueuer (watch it and see if u can bear it). The plot is so thrown together im sure it was written over lunch one day, just check out the rushed predictable ending.

Overall: This movie ranks up there as the worst Asian movie ive watched, alongside such atrocities as Devil eye and 8 Man. Why does Thai cinema fall behind other Asian countries when it comes to film making? The only decent Thai movies ive enjoyed are Shutter and Ong Bak the majority of the ones ive watched usually suck.

Words cannot describe how bad this is.
Id rather get beaten up by an angry mob than sit through this crap again.
